This standard-gauge line belongs to the network of Transports Publics Fribourgeois (TPF). TPF operates several standard-gauge and narrow-gauge lines in the Fribourg region. The line from Fribourg to Ins is standard gauge and runs every half hour between Fribourg and Neuchâtel. In Murten, the line connects with the SBB's Broyetal line, and in Ins, trains operated by TPF, BLS (Neuchâtel – Bern), and the narrow-gauge ASm (Biel – Ins line) meet.
